Dr. Graham Asks some important questions of interest to Mill Valley residents - Chiropractor Mill Valley Dr. Graham Asks...

What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimize our health and be all that you were designed to be.
Why do so many drugs require a prescription?
Because they can be dangerous? I chose a chiropractic career specifically because it avoids artificial means of pain relief. Our Mill Valley chiropractic practice attracts health-conscious families that prefer a safe and natural solution. Ready to get started? Call our office today.

Chiropractors in Mill Valley : Expectations

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.

So, check us out here. Poke around. Get to know us. Then, contact us to make an appointment so we can get to know you.

  • The First Office Visit. A new patient should expect to spend from 45 minutes to 1 hour on their first office visit. The paperwork can be downloaded here which will reduce the length of your office visit. There will be a discussion of the presenting complaints and a review of your paperwork. There will be a thorough exam of the areas of complaint and the entire spine. Unless there is need for additional tests and imaging there will be some treatment the first visit. Dr. Graham recommends a short 15- to 20-minute walk immediately after any treatment, with a few exceptions in severe trauma.

  • Second Visit. The second visit is when the problem area will be checked and there will be a discussion of the findings, treatment plan, and prognosis. There will be treatment on this day. This office visit takes about 30 minutes. An immediate 15 to 20 minute walk will likely be prescribed to the patient.

  • Regular Visit. A typical office visit runs from 20- to 30-minutes and depends on number of complaint areas and the number of therapies involved. A 15- to 20-minute walk immediately after treatment will be an important part of a regular visit.

Thanks for visiting our site. We look forward to meeting with you in person and learning how chiropractic can fit into your health care goals. Give our chiropractor in Mill Valley a call or send us an email and we can arrange a time to explore your options!
